Suspended / Revoked License

ARE YOUR DRIVING PRIVILEGES SUSPENDED OR IS YOUR LICENSE SUSPENDED BECAUSE OF A PROBLEM IN MASSACHUSETTS?

Have your driving privileges or your driver's license in your home state been suspended or revoked because of an outstanding warrant in a Massachusetts Court or because you are under suspension or revocation in Massachusetts?

As the result of an interstate compact among all the states a computerized data base off all drivers (in all 50 states) whose license or right to operate a vehicle has been suspended or revoked was created. That data base is called the National Driver Register (NDR for short).

If your driving privileges in Massachusetts are suspended or revoked, that information is transmitted to the National Driver Register and your home state will be notified. Your home state will then suspend your license or your driving privileges until you get your driving privileges reinstated in Massachusetts.

Typically your driving privileges in Massachusetts will be suspended or revoked because you have an outstanding warrant in a Massachusetts Court.

Attorney Lewin has a remarkable record of clearing these old warrants and getting the client's driving privileges reinstated without the client having to come to Massachusetts.

Some examples of cases from the last few months where Attorney Lewin has been successful in getting licenses restored without the client having to come to Massachusetts are as follows:

A North Carolina resident, age 40, was suspended in his home state because he had multiple DWI convictions in North Carolina. When he served out his suspensions in North Carolina and went to get his North Carolina license reinstated he was refused because he had an outstanding suspension in Massachusetts. The Massachusetts suspension resulted from two outstanding default warrants that the client had in two criminal motor vehicle cases in Lowell District Court. Attorney Lewin got the warrants cancelled and the cases favorably terminated in Lowell District Court - without the client having to come to Massachusetts. Attorney Lewin then went to the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles and - without the client having to come to Massachusetts - got the client's suspension in Massachusetts cancelled and got the client's driving privileges reinstated. The client was thrilled.

A Texas resident, age 35, had his driving privileges in Texas suspended because he had an outstanding suspension in Massachusetts due to a court default in Massachusetts. The client retained Attorney Lewin on a Thursday; on Friday Attorney Lewin had the court default removed, had the court warrant cancelled, and successfully negotiated a dismissal of the criminal case. On Monday Attorney Lewin went to the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles and had the client's driving privileges reinstated. The client was extremely pleased.

“We lived in another state hundred of miles away when we received the dreaded call our son was in trouble. We found Bob Lewin by divine intervention. He promised me that he would treat our son like one of his own sons and that we would be happy with the outcome. He is an amazing attorney. He is professional, highly intelligent and caring. He kept us informed at all times. If you can afford his fee and he takes your case you will be in good hands. My only regret is that he is not licensed to practice law in the state in which we reside.” Anonymous

“I highly recommend Attorney Lewin for all criminal proceedings. I was charged with identity fraud and credit card fraud and at the end my case received a VERY favorable disposition which allowed me to retain my no guilty plea without admission. At the beginning I was afraid and confused of what may happen but Attorney Lewin provided me with a clear understanding of what options I will have, understand the entire process clearly and most importantly his time whenever I had a question. He was very responsive and flexible with his time, which few times included late night meetings to accommodate my schedule. Attorney Lewin is a true professional, highly respected by fellow attorneys, judges and prosecutors which I personally observed. Mistakes happen, investing in a highly knowledgable and professional attorney is priceless! Thank you Attorney Lewin for all of your help!” B.P.
